First, let’s normalize the nervousness

- scared they won’t know what anything means (WOD? AMRAP? 😅)
- anxious they won’t be able to keep up

Step 1: Your No Sweat Intro (Tour + Conversation + Game Plan)
Your first step at FTX CrossFit is a No Sweat Intro – and it’s exactly what it sounds like:
no workout, no pressure, and no intimidation.
Instead, you’ll:
✅ take a quick tour of the gym
✅ meet a coach
✅ talk about what you’re looking for
✅ share what you’ve tried in the past
✅ discuss what your current goals are
This is where we learn what you need so we can recommend the best path forward.
Our goal is simple: make sure you’re placed in the membership option that fits you best.
Step 2: Choose the Membership That Fits You
At FTX CrossFit, there’s no “one-size-fits-all.” You’ll choose the training style that supports your goals and schedule.
Here are the ways you can train with us:
✅ CrossFit Classes
A coached class environment with strength + conditioning + community.
✅ Open Box
Want more flexibility or your own training plan? Open box gives you access to train independently.
✅ Online Personal Training
Perfect if you want expert programming + coaching support… from anywhere.
What to Expect When You Sign Up For Online Training
✅ In-Person Personal Training
More individualized coaching, skill development, accountability, and a plan built specifically for you.
No matter which option you choose, you’ll have coaching and support.
We will always help you find the right fit.
Step 3 (If You’re Doing Classes): Complete 3 “Essentials” Sessions
If you choose CrossFit classes, your next step is completing 3 Essentials sessions.
These are designed to:
✅ teach and reinforce foundational movements
✅ build confidence
✅ prepare your muscles to adapt quickly to CrossFit training
✅ reduce soreness and lower injury risk
✅ make sure you understand how to scale workouts safely
We don’t want you to jump into classes feeling confused or behind.
The goal of Essentials is to make sure that when you do start classes, you feel:
- capable
- ready
- supported
- and excited
Step 4: Jump Into Classes + Sign Up Through the App
Once you complete your Essentials sessions…
🎉 you’re ready to join regular CrossFit classes!
You’ll be able to:
✅ sign up for classes right through the app
✅ see schedules and workout info
✅ stay consistent and accountable
✅ start making progress immediately
And yes – we’ll be cheering for you the whole way.
