WOD #1 – “The Switch”
Sponsored by N53
8:00 AMRAP consisting of 2:00 minute rounds
Each round consists of:
- 30ft DB OH Lunges (Intermediate/Masters = Any carry of DBs) 45/30#s
(Beginners = 20/15#s any carry) - Max Row / Bike for CALs
Score will be the sum of CALORIES of the Bike and Rower.
For each team a bike and a rower will be setup 30ft apart. Teams will start with one partner next to the bike and one next to the rower. At the beginning of each 2:00 round, including at the start, the partners will pickup their respective DBs and lunge towards the opposite side. Once a team member reaches the other side, they can then begin to row or bike. Partners do not have to wait for their partner to finish lunging to begin. Partners will be switching sides each round. See a video explanation here.
WOD #2 – “Side-by-side”
Sponsored by Greater Than
10:00 AMRAP:
- 20 Ricochet Wall Balls
- 20 Partner Burpees
- 20 In-sync KB Snatch (Beginners will use a DB)

Intermediate/Masters = 14/10# @ 10/8′ / 55/35# KB
Beginners = 14/10# @ 10/8′ w/ no in between squat / 30/20# DB

Ricochet Wall Balls = Same as regular Wall Balls except ball is passed to other partner on each throw. Both partners squat each time whether they are throwing ball or receiving ball. 1 rep = each time ball hits target. (Beginners will only squat when they have the ball.)

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
We have plenty of free onsite parking. We are located at a major intersection – Gary Ave. and Geneva Rd.
Can people come and watch? Can spectators come for free?
Yes! We encourage friends and family to come and cheer you on. And, yes they can come for free!
What facilities do you have?
We have a 6,250+ sf state-of-the-art training facility with all the amenities. Free parking. A/C and Heat. Clean bathrooms w/ showers. Drinking fountains. Plenty of storage, including lockers (bring your own lock if you want to lock up your belongings.)
How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
Yes, write us at events@ftxcrossfit.com
Do your events run on time?
Yes, all our competitions to date have started on time and have ended on or before the scheduled finish time.
What’s the refund policy?
Due to the nature of this type of event, we can’t offer refunds. We allocate funds to things like prizes, staff, equipment and more based upon the number of registered athletes, and allowing refunds would make it impossible to plan, budget and run an event like this.
Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
We don’t allow refunds, but if you can’t make it then you can have someone else take your place. Though they do have to be in the same division as you would have been.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn’t match the person who attends?
Yes, as long as the division remains the same.
