Overview of our programming this week

This is our fifth week of the second part of this strength cycle which focuses on the in-between lifts of Olympic lifting. Ongoing focus is developing a proper setup during the descent and transition to overhead movements. Keep working up to heavy sets and hit singles within specific percentage ranges. Train smart, so please scale to Power or take the weight down if you are a beginner or need a break. Remember, days labeled “Work up to a Heavy” mean we want to see you reach a top weight (within limitations while always training smart) in 5-6 working sets.

Monday – N/A
Tuesday – Clean complex
Wednesday – Pull-ups
Thursday – Snatch and C&J
Friday – Hamstring Ring Curls and DB Presses
Saturday – None

It’s the final stretch of 2022. Monday is an at home WOD with a prize raffle for those that enter scores. See the Wodify App for more information. We’re back at the box on Tuesday for a DT type variant with DBs of D/Ls, Ft. Squats and S2O. On Wednesday we will burn some of those extra holiday calories with a row, run and bike WOD. Thursday is a classic CrossFit 10-minute AMRAP couplet of power cleans and OTB burpees. Friday is a 3 round killer of wall balls, jump rope and T2B. We end the year with our annual end of the year WOD – Out with a bang with the Brehm Hero WOD!

FTX Kids’ Classes – We have classes for 8-13 year-olds Tuesday through Friday at 4:30pm.
