FTX Rates
As of 7/1/22 our membership rate and 10-packs will go from $175 to $185. Discount %s will remain the same for all current customers. These new rates will be effective 6/1/22 for new members.
Raising rates is not something we want to do. As any business must do given the current economic reality, we have to account for the unprecedented level of inflation. These economic factors are not our doing, and we cannot ignore them. To be the best FTX possible, to maintain our facilities, retain the best coaches, and adequately cover expenses, we need to increase our rates accordingly. We are by no means in a unique position as all businesses are currently having to adjust their pricing.
On the other hand, remember that if you’ve been a member at FTX for 6 months or more and you become unemployed, your membership is free for up to 6 months or until you regain employment. Also, if you are or you know of a member experiencing economic hardship, let us know so that we can come together as a community and help.
Murph – Memorial Day Weekend
Memorial Day for many kicks off the summer season, but in the CrossFit world it also means Murph! At FTX we will do Murph on Saturday, May 28th, since we will be closed for the observance of Memorial Day on Monday, May 30th. We will be running the Murph workout during each of our regularly scheduled classes: 8am, 9am, 10am and 11am. We will still have Open Box from 12pm – 1:30pm, and you can of course do Murph on your own during that time as well. Anyone wearing their Fight shirt for Murph can have a free FitAid or
Protein Bar.

Overview of our programming this week
This week is an off week for our current strength training cycles. As such, we will be working on various strength variants we don’t do that often. But each of these is highly useful for developing strength, our movement mechanics and range of motion.
Monday – Cleans
Tuesday – Frankenstein Squats
Wednesday – Pull-ups or Wtd. Pull-ups
Thursday – Sumo Deadlift
Friday –Overhead Squats
Monday, we work on cleans with our interval weight training (IWT) format. Tuesday is a 3 round for time WOD consisting of Rowing, Bike KB Head cutters (see video here), burpees and shuttle runs. Wednesday is a medium length AMRAP of DB Push-presses and T2B. Thursday’s WOD has advanced athletes doing Ft. Rack lunges and Muscle-ups and beginners doing Goblet lunges, banded pull-ups and dips. There are additional variations for all levels. Friday is an EMOM of Wtd. Step-overs, Farmer’s Carry, and Cals on the bike. Saturday is a longer WOD with running, air squats, pull-ups and push-ups which will continue to help us prep for Murph.

FTX Kids’ Classes – We have classes for 8-13 year-olds Tuesday through Friday at 4:30pm.
