More than a workout – Change your life!™

Overview of our programming this week

We are going into the second week of our new strength cycle. Like last week, during the first half of the week, we will do short sets with little rest of front squats, deadlifts and bench press using bands. This week you will go a little heavier and/or do more reps depending on the exercise. During the second half of the week, you will see snatch, push press, and deadlifts where you work up to your 1RM. This cycle will provide a comprehensive, multi-prong approach to gains!

Monday – Banded Bench Press
Tuesday –Banded Front Squats and Deadlifts
Wednesday – Snatch
Thursday – Push Press
Friday –Deadlift

On Monday you’ll partner-up and tackle a 16-minute AMRAP of step-ups, wall-walks and ab-rollouts. On Tuesday you will do an descending and ascending ladder of farmer’s carry and 8-ct body-builders. Wednesday’s WOD uses a bit of a unique format to get you to do all the cardio movements and a variety of bodyweight exercises. Thursday is going to burn those legs and shoulders with pistols and a modified wall-ball movement. Friday is a full body workout employing a mix of 4 movements: bear crawls, dips, box jumps and C&J. On Saturday we will do the Hero WOD “Daniel”.

FTX Classes – We have the most extensive group class based schedule of any facility in the area. See our schedule here – https://ftxcrossfit.com/schedule/.

FTX Kids’ Classes – We have classes for 8-13 year-olds Tuesday through Friday at 4:30pm. No 4:30 pm Kids’ class this Wednesday.

FTX Rates

As of 7/1/22 our membership rate and 10-packs will go from $175 to $185. Discount %s will remain the same for all current customers. These new rates will be effective 6/1/22 for new members.
Raising rates is not something we want to do. As any business must do given the current economic reality, we have to account for the unprecedented level of inflation. These economic factors are not our doing, and we cannot ignore them. To maintain our facilities, retain the best coaches, and adequately cover expenses, we need to increase our rates accordingly. We are by no means in a unique position as all businesses are currently having to adjust their pricing.
