Overview of our programming this week

The 2022 CrossFit Open is over! It was great to see all the effort and camaraderie. A special thank you to all those that put it all on the line during our Friday Night Lights. Fun to see everyone come out and participate. This week we go back to our regular scheduled programming. 😊 The next 3 weeks of strength are back to our standard power lifting movements. We are using these 3 weeks to establish your 1RM, 3RM and 5RM, which will set us up for what we have planned in the next strength cycle. This week’s strength/skill-work days are as follows:

Monday – Back Squat
Tuesday – Shoulder Press
Thursday – Deadlift
Friday – Bench Press

Monday is an EMOM with power cleans, thrusters and push jerks. Tuesday is a short WOD of bear crawling and climbing ropes. Wednesday is a longer WOD that get’s us running again with the warmer weather. If it isn’t quite warm enough for some of you, the Devil’s Presses and Wall Balls will warm you up quickly. You’ll finish Wednesday’s WOD with a buy-out of a Farmer’s Carry. Thursday is a quick 5 round couplet of 8-ct body-builders and ab roll-outs. Friday’s Tabata will have you Rowing, Snatching and Lunging. Saturday is the “Hotshots 19” Hero WOD.

New Equipment – In the month of March you will see us acquire some more equipment and update other equipment. It is part of our commitment to maintain a top-level training facility for our members.

FTX Kids’ Classes – We have classes for 8-13 year-olds Tuesday through Friday at 4:30pm.
