Overview of our programming this week

This week we are testing our maxes on all the lifts. Let’s see how everyone has progressed over the last strength cycle. Remember that form and range of motion trump speed and weight. Don’t go for a max lift if you haven’t been lifting regularly for the past 6 weeks.
This week the WODs offer a wide variety of movements and formats, but none of them involve really heavy movements since we are hitting it hard and heavy on the lifts.

Summer is here!

With summer comes the hotter weather. Enjoy! This means we will also run more and do some more things in the parking lot. Given all this, we do want to remind everyone that we strive to be a very family friendly gym. As such, we ask everyone to keep shirts on and wear clothing that covers the full torso, including the midriff. Please use good judgment on overly tight clothing. We’re not trying to be sticklers here, but at the same time want to protect our family friendly and inclusive atmosphere. And besides, we have A/C!

FTX Kids’ Classes – We have classes for 8-13 year-olds Tuesday through Friday at 4:30pm.
