Regular full schedule this week.

Our current strength cycle is taking us up to the first week of the Open, focusing on Olympic lifting and gymnastics. You all are surely feeling the difference of doing the strength/skill-work after the MetCon while under fatigue. This is consistent with the principle of constantly varying things and thereby getting better long-term results by mixing things up.

Zoom SMR Class
Wednesdays 7:30pm – 8:00pm

For the month of February, we have added a Zoom only SMR class on Wednesday evenings. Join Peter Johnson for a ½ hour of blissful recovery! Do this from the comfort of your own home! The Zoom ID and Password can be found in the Wodify App. Pull up the class schedule, go to Wednesday, make sure you have selected “SMR” or “All Programs”, scroll to the 7:30 pm SMR class, and then reserve your spot. Each SMR class is limited to 8 participants.

Zoom Yoga Class
Thursdays 7:30pm – 8:30pm

We are expanding our Yoga offerings. We will still have our in-person Yoga class on Tuesdays at 7:45pm. You can do this Zoom only class from the comfort of your home. The Zoom ID and Password can be found in the Wodify App. Pull up the class schedule, go to Thursday, make sure you have selected “Yoga” or “All Programs”, scroll to the 7:30 pm Yoga class, and then reserve your spot. The Zoom only Yoga class is limited to 8 participants.

FTX Kids’ Classes

Our FTX Kids’ schedule has changed:
Mon / Wed / Fri = 3:30pm – 4:30pm
Tue / Thu = 2:30pm – 3:30pm and 4:30pm – 5:30pm
Note that we added a class on Mondays and changed times on Wednesday and Friday!

Zoom Classes

You can participate in any of our regular classes via Zoom. To participate, please send us an email and we will add a Zoom appointment capability to your Wodify account. It is free and included in your membership. We will use unique Zoom IDs and passwords that will be displayed in Wodify in the schedule for the corresponding class time.

CrossFit Open
Coming Thursday, March 11th

This is a three-week worldwide event for all, where we all do one workout per week in this Open competition. It is great for:

  • Setting goals
  • Pushing yourself a little harder and further
  • Ensuring great movement standards
  • Camaraderie
  • Being part of something worldwide
  • Fun competition
  • Accountability

As with last year, we will again have 3 teams at FTX: Red, Silver and Black! More details on our local FTX component to come. Register for the Open here and be part of the fun! You have to register for the Open to fully participate in our local FTX activities.
