This upcoming Saturday we will be doing the Murph Hero WOD at Northside Park at 8am and 9am. We will meet at the main playground area where the adult pull-up bars are. It’s right in front of the main entrance. There will be no regular classes at FTX next Saturday.

This week’s Strength cycle schedule:
We are starting a new 16 week strength cycle based on the Juggernaut system. What we like about this system is that it is specifically designed to complement other activities/sports. We strongly encourage you not to miss any of the strength days. For unlimited members this may involve just coming in for the strength portion on some days versus doing a whole class. For those that don’t have an unlimited membership – upgrade! [If you’ve been on a Flex 13 membership for 3 months or longer, then for September and October you can upgrade for just $10 per month. Just send us an email to trainer@ftxcrossfit.com requesting the upgrade and we’ll take care of it.]

This week you will see medium to long workouts. The WODs are more body-weight with weighted movements sprinkled in throughout. This week you will see two workouts that are also great to do when travelling. We know that many of you travel and wanted to give you ideas for WODs you can repeat when you are on your own. These “Hotel” WODs are great for the box as well and hope you enjoy them this week. We highly recommend you own a jump-rope. It’s easy to pack along on any trip. We sell some for $12. Ask a trainer about getting one.
