FTX CrossFit – Friday

The CrossFit Total (Total Weight)

In the order listed perform a warm-up for each lift and then make 3 attempts at a 1RM for each of the following:

  1. Back Squat
  2. Strict Press
  3. Deadlift

Total Score is the combined max # of lbs lifted among all 3 lifts.

Beginners and those who have not been lifting regularly 3+ x per week for the last 4 weeks will not perform the CrossFit Total. They will do 3-5 sets of 5-8 reps of each of these movements instead. Do NOT attempt a 1RM if you haven’t been lifting heavy regularly for the last 4 weeks with proper form and mechanics. Be smart!
